Hexham Racecourse Hospitality
On both race and non racedays Hexham Racecourse offers excellent hospitality facilities in beautiful country surroundings. It is also an ideal venue for seminars, conferences and private parties. As we also have a licence to hold marriage ceremonies we can cater for not only your special occasion but also a reception to match.
On course catering is provided by Ramside Event Catering, one of the largest privately owned prestigious catering companies in the North East of England. With a wealth of experience and expertise our ultimate aim is to provide our clients with the very highest standard of catering along with a high level of customer care. A quality service. Menu Packages
There is a choice of 3 menu packages: Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each package includes: Club entry to racecourse, room hire, your choice of menu, racecards, licensed bar, Tote betting facilities and television monitors. You can view a sample menu for each package and the cost here.
The Ramshaw Stand
The Ramshaw Stand is the latest in a series of long term course improvements at Hexham and provides the Members' Enclosure with magnificent facilities for viewing and hospitality.
The new stand overlooks the winner's enclosure and the parade ring and is fronted by a wide patio and grassed terraces which provide an excellent view of all points of the racecourse.
The Chase Bar
The ground floor contains the attractive stone-flagged bar with refreshment area and Tote betting with extensive closed-circuit TV monitors at hand.
The Curlew Room
The Curlew Room on the first floor offers bar and snack food, with Tote and closed-circuit TV, and offers seating at tables for a drink or something to eat while viewing the racecourse action.
The Henderson Suite
Overlooking the parade ring, the Henderson Room also offers a panoramic view of the course and the winner's enclosure and can provide private dining and refreshment facilities to parties of up to 120 guests for a full, sit-down lunch or dinner, or for 180 for a finger buffet or reception. The room has its own complete bar, adjoining rest-rooms and features closed-circuit TV monitors and Tote betting facilities.
The Henderson Room is ideal for corporate hospitality from race sponsors or for entertaining other large private parties. On non-race days it can provide an ideal venue for business conferences and seminars, as well as wedding receptions or other social functions.
Enderby & Patterson Boxes
The top floor contains two private boxes for entertaining up to 24 guests in each with dining and bar service. The boxes can be joined in various configurations to accommodate larger groups. Needless to say the view from the top floor is superb. The large area to the rear contains Tote betting facilities, TV monitors and a unique view of the town of Hexham and the North Tyne valley. This may be used for larger groups in conjunction with the private boxes overlooking the course. In the Tattersalls Enclosure there are also a number of bars and a restaurant serving complete meals, as well as the new Tote bar and betting shop facilities.
The Northumbria Suite
Situated at the West end of the racecourse complex the Northumbria Suite is a little way past the winning post, however, being on the first floor it nevertheless affords excellent viewing of all the course. The Northumbria Suite which can accommodate parties of up to 55 persons has its own bar, Tote desk and CCTV screens and together with a choice of menu packages it is ideal for corporate entertaining.
All rooms and boxes are available for hire on non racedays for conferences seminars and weddings.
Hexham racecourse has a licence to hold marriage ceremonies.
